How to use user sessions on multiple wordpress installed on same domain

    Hello,
    I know its been asked before but I tried all answers posted on wordpress forums even then i couldn’t get it to work.

    I want to know is there any way I could use a user session on multiple wordpress installed on same directory structure.

    I installed wordpress on domain.com and domain.com/newwp

    I succeed in sharing same users for these two installs but could’t get user session working. I tried this but I got login loop after inserting these in config.php

    Can someone please confirm if it works on wordpress 4.2+

    If not please give me alternate solution.
