  • I’m not sure what’s causing the problem but i’m sure that BAW Login/Logout Menu Plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years and it’s tested up to WP 3.5b2 so i would strongly suggest to find another solution/plugin.

    Hi there,

yes, I installed it becuase so many people had recently said it works fine..

Unfortunately not even after I deleted the plugin is my site going back to normal. I just cannot log in without deleting the functions.php…

    Any ideas?

Try switching to one of the default themes and then back to your child theme.

Eliminate the ending ?> from your functions.php file. Really.

Tried that, and did it just again just in case… It all works fine on the normal theme, login and all, switching back to the child theme however leads back to the same issue… lo logging in in the Child theme. Very bizarre as it worked all this time.. The child functions.php seems to be causing the issue but all it contains is the stylesheet…

Did you try what Otto suggested?

Samuel Wood that worked! Thank you so much!

So bizarre as it is the child theme provided by the theme developers and actually worked this whole time!

Thank you so much for your help!!!

Yes that did the trick. very strange. I never touched the functions.php
