Cannot login unless I erase my functions.php file that contains barely anything

Hi there,
All my child theme’s functions.php contains is this for styling:

However, since I installed the BAW Login/Logout Menu Plugin, I have to erase my functions.php in order to login to my backend. If my functions.php is active in the child theme, the login page does nothing when i enter the correct login details, and so, I cannot login. Everything worked perfectly until I installed that plugin, but now, not even erasing the plugin has solved the problem.. Please help!!
