    Hi,

    today I update to the Minor fix 4.2.2 and the site is not working anymore.
    Other sites without qtranslate-x and same theme are still working.
    Could you please check?
    It gives an 500 error but without showing anything.

    Deactivating your plugin makes the site working again but with funny titles.

    Cheers

    Hi John,

    is there a chance that our problem will be solved soon?
    Your plugin is not working after update to WordPress 4.2.2.

    This sounds really bad, but I cannot reproduce it. You have to give me more information. Try following the instructions here: https://qtranslatexteam.wordpress.com/troubleshooting/

    Do you use the latest q-X?

    Hi,

    Same problem for me since a few days, as I updated WP to 4.2.2
    The message on my site is :

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function qtrans_getLanguage() in /home/venarbol/public_html/wp-content/plugins/dynamic-widgets/mods/qt_module.php on line 53

    I enabled to log to my dasboard by connecting directly to the URL “URL of my site”/admin

    I then deactivated qTranslateX and my site became reachable.
    In order to manage translations, I reactivated mqTranslate but I would prefer to use qTranslateX.

    Any help would be appreciated πŸ˜‰

    Thanks

    Hi John,

    I am using WordPress 4.2.2 and latest qtranslate-x 3.3 and qtranlate slug 1.1.16.

    It behaves the same at my site:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function qtrans_getlanguage() in /volume1/web/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/dynamic-widgets/mods/qt_module.php on line 53
    So I deactivated dynamic-widgets and it works again but this is not the solution. It worked fine before.
    May be you don’t had dynamic widgets installed and thats why you could not reproduce?

    Cheers

    @szabadkai and @benetel,

    on line 53 of qt_module.php change this, temporarily,

    $curlang = qtrans_getLanguage();

    to

    $curlang = qtranxf_getLanguage();

    and see if that makes a difference.

    Hi Gunu.

    Yes, it worked!
    What do you mean with Custom Integration - activate - Compatibility Functions?

    @szabadkai,

    under Settings – Languages – Custom Integration – Compatibility Functions, turn this on.

    See if it then also works without the adjustment in the qt_module.php

    (@szabadkai)

    Yes Gunu,

    it works like a charm.
    I restarted Apache and cleared my cache before testing.

    Thank you

    Shouldn’t this option be set by default?

    Shouldn’t this option be set by default?

    perhaps, it would be better if the author of Dynamic Widgets adapts its code so that it works directly.

    You can also report this in the Dynamic Widgets forum with an adjustment on their side it can then be used for more translation plugins.

    Yeah, but I am not that versatile to explain why, where and what to change.
    May be you could post a short and specific explanation yourself?
    Thanks
