I will have to say, the support this staff offers is top-notch. They answer extremely fast. He told me that they have this on their list down the pike. If that gets done, this is a no-brainer. The modules are nicely put together and the training support is straight forward. It just wasn’t a fit for what I was looking for currently but has amazing potential.

To answer your comment about “visibility in search engines”–microdata is but one aspect of a very complicated algorithm in Google to determine the quality of a page and where it ranks. We also support integration with Yoast SEO which is probably a stronger indicator of data like meta keywords and descriptions. This works with BD 3.x and higher and has for a long time.
We did refund you immediately when we weren’t able to provide this feature on demand as I understand that it’s important to you. Of course, our roadmap for features is determined largely by user input and we certainly hear you loud and clear. It’s not that we’re solely focused on aesthetics, it’s that we also hear the hundreds of users that have been asking for more look and feel customization options that have been asking for almost 2 years on this. The microdata markup is important too, but not as many folks are asking for it so we respond to requests that have the largest impact across our customer base. Like I said in our email exchange–we have it on the list, but our next focus is on skins/themes.
A two star rating for a plugin that you described as having “great support, great set of modules with documentation and training” feels somewhat understated, wouldn’t you say? I hope you can reconsider the rating in light of that.
I hope that we can add this sometime in the future for you and bring you back as a customer (since you received a full refund for your purchase), but as I noted before we can’t promise a particular date on it at this time.
You are right about the review…just bummed about microdata. I will check back. The plugin itself has a ton of functionality. And again, your support is top-notch.
