    Done. Did a ‘silent’ update, grab a fresh copy and you’ll pick it up…

    Sorry, I wasn’t very clear. The backslashes were in the Custom message text field in the back-end.

    vtmam-rules-ui.php line 627 <?php echo stripslashes($vtmam_rule->custMsg_text); ?> solved it.

    Argh, I did the output but not the wp-admin side. Fixed. Pull it again if you like. Thanks for pointing this out…
