I have an interesting issue on my site. We have the calendar set up in monthly view: http://www.pack1094.org/events/month/

There was a multi-day event created called Spring Campout (May 15-17). It initially showed up correctly. However, as soon as we create a new event, the link to Spring Campout goes to the new event. The hover popup is still correct, but not the main link on the calendar.

The Mother’s Day Plant Sale events were created after the Spring Campout. If I switch them back to unpublished drafts, the Sping Campout event goes back to normal. As soon as I publish the events again, the Spring Campout main link is changed to the wrong event.

The only extra plugin we have for the calendar is category colors, but deactivating it doesn’t fix the problem.

Any help to figure out how to fix this would be appreciated.

    Hi tommy290,

Sorry to hear you hit up against some difficulties:

    • I’m not sure I can identify the problem when I visit your site – is that because you removed the problematic event and can you restore it so we can see the problem (whether on your live site or a test site) or else point me in the right direction?
    • If a plugin conflict has been ruled out, could we do the same process but test with a default theme?

    Thanks!

Here’s the link to the page in question: http://www.pack1094.org/events/month/

    Here’s what I see when I go there: http://i.imgur.com/yPWfBzK.png

The circled event should be a spring campout. The direct link to the spring campout is here: http://www.pack1094.org/event/spring-campout-2/

So, even though the correct event is there in the database, in calendar view the part circled in red always shows the last event created (even though the hover popup is for the correct event). I tried the default themes and the same thing happens.

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues. Do you have any shortcodes in the event content? There are issues similar to this when present. We have a fix for that in 3.10.

And have you tried out complete testing for conflicts guide to see if that helps:

    Let us know.

    Thanks
