Thanks for the compliment! The issue you’re having is because you have responsive sizing turned on. You’ll have to choose between using your custom fixed dimensions above, OR using responsive video sizing (which makes your dimensions dynamically stretch).
Most admins and visitors enjoy responsive video sizing because it makes videos gracefully auto-fit depending on the size of the screen (i.e. mobile devices vs. desktop). You’ll notice this in action if you drag/resize the corner of your browser window. Responsive sizing also prevents a video from busting out of the sides of its container when viewed on mobile devices, which can happen if you use custom fixed dimensions. FYI: many mobile-friendly themes also enforce responsive sizing because of these mobile-friendly benefits.
So if you still prefer fixed dimensions over responsive sizing, try unchecking the “Responsive sizing” checkbox in the plugin settings. If your videos still don’t respect the fixed dimensions, then your mobile-friendly theme is probably also still enforcing responsive sizing.
