"Sparkling" Theme for Small Business Website

    Hello,

    I’m the owner of a small upstart interested in a functional website, not a blog. Cannot, at this point, afford a web design firm. So, was heartened when I read the following:

    Sparkling is a clean minimal and responsive WordPress theme well suited for travel, health, business, finance, portfolio, design, art, photography, personal and any other creative websites and blogs.

    I do not need a large corporate or eCommerce site. Just a web presence announcing my services and contact info, with perhaps a photo gallery, etc. However, after experimenting I get the impression it is strictly blog-ware. Have I missed some sort of blog/website toggle?

    Dave,

    It depends on functionality you are after. You can use this theme for static websites and blog is only optional.

    Here is how you can use a static page on front page.

    Let me know if you have some more specific questions in mind.
