Can't login to Dashboard

    I tried logging in to admin after 5 minute installation. But it comes with blank dashboard page and when i refresh, it requires me to log in. When i log in, it says invalid user/ forgot password? But i am entering correct user/pass. My database is in PHPmyadmin and wp_users table is empty. How can I log in to dashboard. Plz help!!!

    Is this a brand new installation? If yes, does your hosting company provide one button WordPress installation?

    If the answer is yes again, why not delete everything and start over with a new one button install?

    Thanks for ur response. And yes wslade, it’s a brand new installation but on my localhost server. I’ve not gone for live hosting yet.

    There is a forum for localhost installs. You may want to post there if the following suggestions don’t help.

    If you haven’t already tried again, you might try repeating the install steps.

    The wp_users table should not be empty. It should be written to during installation. Since you said empty versus missing, has the table structure been installed?
