• Hi,

I updated to 4.2.1, and now when I log in, my Dashboard is missing plugins, pages, etc, etc.

Below is a screenshot of what I currently see. Previous to this, I had list of options on the left side going all the way down the page for plugins, pages, etc, etc, etc.

BTW: I did notice that I have another installation of WP on my home server (but I never used that installation); can it be that when I updated WP, the information was used from the older WP installation? Again, my website is looking and functioning fine, I just can’t make edits at this point because the Dashboard is empty.

    Thanks!
    Lex

  • You might try disabling your plugins. Read this, please.

    Thanks Media X.
I disabled them, after you suggested, by moving them to an inactive folder, and all it did was remove the Jetpack from the window.

    :/

    Oh wait.
Actually, I just noticed the comments are there.
Maybe I should remove them again, and add them back one by one.
    I’ll try that.
    Thanks Media X!

Hm…. Please, also try renaming your active theme folder (the same way as you did with the plugins). This way it will automatically switch to the default theme. Also, don’t forget to clear the caches (just in case) 😉

EDIT: yes, try what you mentioned in your last reply.
