Sidebar for the post archives?

I created a sidebar for the blog page using the SS plugin and I added the calendar widget to the sidebar. When you click the calendar widget to go back to March posts the calendar widget disappears. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

Here is the site. The blog is under the resources tab and the site is password protected.
