Can you check that you have the “Force Secure Checkout” option enabled in the WooCommerce general checkout settings?

Also, what is the base country set to in your WooCommerce settings?

    Hi,

Yes, Force Secure Checkout is active and payments are working fine on PayPal website.
The base country is United Kingdom.

    Thanks in advance, Fred.

    Hi again,

    Witch on should I use?
    PayPal Website Payments Pro (DoDirectPayment)
    or
    PayPal Payments Pro 2.0 (PayFlow)

to process the payments directly on my website connected with my paypal account?

Thanks in advance and best regards,
    Fred

That depends on which version of Pro you got signed up for. Do you know if they put you on “Website Payments Pro 3.0” or “Payments Pro 2.0”?

I’m having a similar issue. I just have the free Paypal buisiness account. I don’t know which one to use and also don’t see where to enter the Paypal email address to receive payments from sellers.

    Hi,
I am also having the same issue. Force Secure Checkout is active and payments are also working fine on PayPal website. Although my base country is Switzerland, I do not think it really matters for PayPal “DoDirectPayment” (I know I can’t use Payments Pro 2.0 in Switzerland, but DoDirectPayment must be OK).
    Any idea?
    My website is https://rhumbox.com

    Thanks.

    @techmann,

If you want to use Payments Pro you need to make sure you’ve applied for it and had it approved. If you don’t have Pro active then your only option will be to use Express Checkout. Express Checkout uses the APIs, so you would enter your API credentials into the plugin settings as opposed to your email address.

@taramin, DoDirectPayment is Payments Pro, so that is your problem, unfortunately. It’s only available in the US, UK, and Canada, so if your base country in WC is set to something else it won’t display the Pro credit card form during checkout.

    Hi Angelleye,

I have PayPal Pro 3.0 active in my account but after setting up the credentials it doesn’t show up on the checkout.

What you think can be the cause?
    Thanks in advance.

@fc12, do you have an SSL installed and working on your site? Also, do you have the Force Secure Checkout option enabled in the WooCommerce general checkout settings?

@fc12, sorry, I see you already answered those questions. The only other thing I can think that would cause that not to show up is if you had the base country of your site set to something outside the US, UK, or Canada. Is that the case, by chance?

    @angelleye,

Everything is working fine already with PayPal through their API, but all I need is to use PayPal Pro on my website otherwise PayPal charges me more fees…
Your Plugin seems to do the job, but it doesn’t display on the checkout when activated.
I tried the Payflow 2.0 and it shows, but then gives an error when submitting payment, as I’m with PayPal Pro 3.0.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance, Fred.

@fc12, what is the base country you have set in your WooCommerce general settings?

As long as the following things are true it should show up for you.

    – Base country in WooCommerce general settings is set to US, UK, or Canada
    – SSL installed and active on the server.
    – Force secure checkout enabled in WC general checkout settings.

Can you verify each of those things for me?

    Hi there

I am located in Hong Kong. Paypal recently opened up the Payments Pro (now called Website Payments Pro I think) to other countries. Can you update your app to support these new countries?

@mushu8888, I don’t think it uses the same API, unfortunately. I would need to get the new APIs integrated. Do you happen to have documentation specific to the version you’re wanting?

@angelleye, I got it working finally.
Was missing something that was not allowing it to show up.
    Thanks πŸ˜‰
