DON'T USE – Author stripped free version to make money on "Pro"

    The author has removed the option to set the first image in a post as the featured image because he realized that’s what people needed most. That option is now only available in the “Pro” version. I’ll find another plugin to do what I need…you don’t take abilities away from people who already had them. A big middle finger to Martin Stehle.

    That is not a fair feedback. I realized that the “first image function” took much more time than I expected due to very heterogenic implementations of the IMG element in WP contents and therefore many requests and complaints.

    And I did that in my free time, spended many hours for that. To make this option chargable is not fine, but it was necessary for me.

    And, hey, I do not take lots of money for the pro version. Look at the price and compare that with the price you would pay to someone setting the first image as featured for hundreds or thousands of posts.

    I see your middle finger, but I don’t care. There are much more positive feedbacks to both versions of the plugin (free and pro) – even the feedback, one would pay “100 $” for it, much more than the current price! – and it makes me happy to see people liking the plugin very much.
