• Hello Conor,
Firstly fantastic work on creating this plugin, it’s the best ranking system out there for runners.
One website I use a lot is the power of 10 which i’m sure you’re familiar with (http://thepowerof10.info), the rankings they display so you can compare yourself against other athletes is great.
You offer this option but not as a default page, only by clicking the ‘graph’ icon when on the records page. Would you be able to develop the plugin further so this is a standard page? I think it would be very useful seeing the best result from each athlete on a ‘Rankings’ page. It would be good to hear your thoughts and i’ll look forward to any future updates 🙂

    Hi Ryan.

Thanks for the kind words and I’m really glad you like the plugin, always nice to get positive feedback.

What you outlined above is a very good idea and something I have thought about adding though I wasn’t sure if the demand would be there for it.

I could see this being implemented using shortcodes, for example:

    [wpa-rankings event-category-id=x]

(where x represents an event distance e.g 10k)

I also want to add shortcodes to allow display a list of specific user PB’s or results, e.g

    [wpa-results user-id=x]

This allows you link directly to a users results or PB’s which I think could also be useful.

Thanks again for the feedback Ryan and I’ll update this ticket if and when I make some progress.

    Conor.

    Hi Ryan,

The feature above is now available in version 1.1.7.

You can now generate a customised rankings shortcode and paste it into a new page or post to display your rankings.

Go to the admin dashboard and WP Athletics > Shortcode Generator to try it out.

If you have any feedback, don’t hesitate to let me know here.

    Thanks,

    Conor.
