I’ve got WordPress 4.2.1 and WP-to-Twitter 3.0.6. The last successful tweet from the plugin, on my twitter account, was 4/24 (4 days ago). When I test the plugin using the “Test WP to Twitter” button, I get a successful result. The template is set to #title# #url# #tags# for published posts only.

However, the following message has been sitting on dashboard when I visit the WP-to-Twitter settings page:

Last Tweet: No post associated with this Tweet » Tweet sent successfully.

I’m stuck – not sure what to do.

    1) Is the WP to Twitter post meta box visible when you’re writing a post?
    2) Do you get any error when you publish a post?
    3) If not, have you verified that your settings are configured so that posts will be Tweeted? (Basic Settings)

    1) Yes the WP to Twitter meta box is visible.
    2) No errors appear when I publish a post.
    3) Settings are configured in Basic Settings that posts will be Tweeted.

Do you have posts enabled to Tweet when edited? If not, try turning that on, then see if they Tweet when you create a new post *as if* they were edited.

Tried that just now. Added “Tweet when edited,” saved settings. Created a new post, and still no Tweet.

Ok, seems like it may have resolved. I re-installed the plugin and got new API keys and Access tokens. Published a post and voilà!

No idea what could’ve caused it.

Huh. Yeah, that’s odd. Access tokens can sometimes get screwed up, but that would generally result in error messages. Well, in glad you’re set up again!
