get search result

This might be a bit complicated. We have about 700 dealers we list with your store locator. To manage this, we have reps that manage certain states. Your store locator works fine for the dealers, but my boss wants me to list the reps after a search come up. For example, if they do a search zip code that is in California, it will list all the reps that represent in California.

I plan to code my own seperate box to show the Reps, however, to do this I would need the state and country that the search came up with. Is there an API or another method of fetching the result of the search, more so the state or country of the result. For example, if they search for “redwood falls minnesota” or just “56283”, is there a way to fetch the result of “MN” and “USA”? With that information I’ll just code my own box to show all reps in that state and country.

If not possible, just let me know so I can just try something else.
