    Hi,

After updating to WP 4.2 (may have happened at 4.1.2 also) we can no longer see the list of subscribers at wp-admin/admin.php?page=SimpleSubscribe

The list can be exported, so the data is there. It just does not show up in that list, or in the popup menu at wp-admin/admin.php?page=SimpleSubscribeEmail

I haven’t tried sending a letter to see if that function can retrieve the list.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    v

I tried wp_debug and it doesn’t show anything.

Yes we know the issue. And working on the fix. The issue is because of nette framework.

@n2fisher, I admin a multisite install where one of my users uses this plugin. It looks to me (from a couple bounces) that emails are still going out to the subscription list. The export feature still works too, so you should be able to get a list of subscribers that way to verify. The self-subscribe and double opt-in still ‘seem’ to work. Your mileage may vary though.

There are multiple issues with the plugin being not compatible to wp4.2

We are working on it to fix for 4.2

I am extremely frustrated with Simple Subscribe — it’s been over three weeks since this problem originated. If I download another subscribe plugin, will it maintain the list of people I already have?

Yes it is taking too long i’m going to convert some of my sites to Subscribe2

Yeah I had to get a different plugin. Really disappointed.

Helen, how did you change to another plugin? Did you lose your subscribers?

Lori I exported a CSV of my subscribers (the list isn’t that long) and then re-entered them one by one into the new subscriber plugin. I wanted to do this anyway because this one wasn’t even sending out emails when new blogs were posted, so it was completely worthless. I’m very disappointed.

Helen, what plug-in are you using?

Do you have a date for this bug fix?
Would like to stick with simple subscribe because it’s easy to train clients in how to use it. Please let me know if you’re not going to fix it.

Does anyone have a way to export the existing subscribers? I cant see any way to do it.

Really shits me these developers are so lazy and useless, either fix the stupid plugin or tell us where we can get and export our subscribers from.

These sort of morons are really the bane of wordpress, write a plugin, too lazy and useless to keep it up to date so then the rest of your site is negatively impacted thanks to their incompetence.

When I launched Simple Subscribe(no longer working) from the Dashboard, I could export my subscribers to a CVS file which I saved to my desktop. I have two sites and I changed to a different subscribe plug-in for each one, insurance. LOL One is called “Subscribe by Email”, the other is called “Email Subscribers”, both allowed me to Import my subscribers from the CVS file that I had saved.

Hi the subscribers list on my client’s site has completely disappeared. She tried adding an existing subscriber again and it said it couldn’t as that name was already on the list, so they are still there, but can’t be seen.

Can someone look at this please? Thanks.
