    Cross-posting here for visibility –

It appears that the latest WP update (4.2) is incompatible with Ultimate Nofollow. When active, it will not allow you to insert any link at all. Only disabling the plugin can you insert any hyperlink.

Same problem here. Ultimate No-Follow was an AWESOME plugin. I wish you had continued to support it. It’s now broken with the latest WordPress release and it’s a shame I have to uninstall it. RIP Ultimate Nofollow.

Why does WP not give you a nofollow option? Seems like good SEO practice these days.

Same problem here. Can’t insert links while this plugin is active since update. Fingers crossed this gets fixed!

I tried sending the plugin author a message about this issue via their website contact form.

I’ve fixed this by updating the wplink files to reflect the changes to the file in WP 4.2 – you can download a working version of the plugin at:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/nwxtifzh6dcga9b/nofollow-edit.zip?dl=0

The folder name is different & the plugin name, so it won’t interfere with updates to Ultimate Nofollow from the original plugin author 🙂

That plugin works but wow is it going to be a pain switching all my WordPress sites over. Hopefully Ultimate NoFollow will just be fixed so we don’t have to deal with all that.

Hopefully the plugin author will apply my fix – that’s what happened a year ago

Same thing happened to me tonight. I had to sadly deactivate. I really hope the developer responds with an update as I’d like to continue using it.
