Hi, I’m installing this plugin on an existing blog that has 1000+ old posts. How can I protect all of them without editing each post individually?

On a related question, what would it take to add a ‘protected’ checkbox to the ‘Posts’ page in the backend. That way we could bulk edit a few hundred at a time. This would also allow us to see at a glance which posts were protected and which weren’t.

Hi in regards to your question.

Click on Add-ons and select Protect Older Posts add-on.

In regards to your other question…

One of the plugin developers will reply further to your request. However in saying this you can protect all the Categories. Have you tried this option?

Ah thanks for your reply! Since I posted my original query I did indeed discover the Protect Older Posts Add-on 🙂 All good now, 1000+ posts protected. Now I just have to add ‘read more’ tags to all of them lol 🙂
