Counts only external hits?

    Hi!

    I love your plugin! I just have one question. Our front page got about 2200 hits on one specific day because of some news we posted, yet the page that actually has the news on it only got 140. Does WP statics count when someone logs onto our front page and then clicks on an itnernal link, or does it only count external hits? Thanks!

    It counts all hits to every page, unless they are excluded.

    It sounds like you drove a lot of traffic to your front page but they didn’t click through to the news page.
