Evolve Theme comments missing after update :(

    I created a site using the Evolve theme. The template required an update. I updated it and learned the hard way that if you update a theme the customizing does not stay. I then created a child theme of the evolve theme and re customized. The theme needed another update so I updated again. My custom changes stayed but the comments box is now gone even though the comments check box is checked on all pages 🙁

    Can someone tell me what is wrong?

    I don’t have it “live” yet, I have the “under construction” plugin in use right now. It’s far from complete and don’t want to post it live just yet. Could I send you the link privately and post the site for a bit for you to have a look? Or is there another way to view it without making it public?

    Hoping someone can help me figure out why the comments option isn’t showing on the pages but it is on the posts.
