IP & Database

Hi Folks,

I just created an instance on Amazon AWS. I’m going to be building a WordPress site on the server, but I have a question before I start doing anything.

The person who has the domain hasn’t pointed the domain name to the IP Address yet. If I install WordPress on the server without the domain name will it mess up once the domain name is pointed to the server? For instance:

Right now you can get to the website by typing the IP Address into the address bar on a browser. If I install wordpress now, will the database mess up when I start doing things with the domain name?
