Lost main site on multisite

I have a multisite which has been working fine. I wanted to chnage it to a single site using one of the subdomains http://frenchclassifiedandproperty.com/property/ so I though I would try and change the path and swap then over i,e main site is / and the other is /property/

What has happened is that I have lost the main site and admin for it and admin for multi sites, but I still have my two sub domais working and the admin for them.

It seems now I have no main site but subdomain /property/ and two for /directory/ as the directory was the one I was testing to swap for the main site to see if the users would swap over.

Blue host have tried backup from an earlier date, but it did not help, they have said they cannot offer more help.

If I can just keep my property section now as my main domain I do not mind losing what was on the mainsite and just have the directory as a subdomian. I would even consider just having the property as main site and loosing the directory contents as I have had problems using multisite.

Sorry for the long question, but any advice is much appriciated. I have take off the main site from the menu’s on the subdomains for now.

Could not find site frenchclassifiedandproperty.com. Searched for table xvs_blogs in database frenche2_wor2. Is that right?
