I watched the videos, I tried the “free version, I purchased the Pro version of S2…and I have paid a renewal subscription to get support. I am now on day 8 with no resolve. Now I am being ignored in that I am not even getting a response!

When I have tried all that they ask me to do and then just start to ignore me….and when I start to get “canned” responses…

At what point do you “express” your anger and discontentment in a way that then becomes and “excuse” for them not to help?

A plugin update that follows the norm of an ftp upload on all other plugins is now an issue?

A plugin whereby all other prior uploads worked find is an issue?

    I don’t think so..

So.. What am I to do? Build my own site and let other blog about their problems of the developer.

This I can say.. 100% of the time they have “accepting” your money down to an exact science.

I hope the developer reaches deep down into his comfort zone and realize that he got their because we believed in him.

The developer probably won’t even see this message. Have you posted on the plugin’s support section?

The paid version of any plugins are not supported here, and only by the authros by whatever means that they offer. No one here can do anything to “force” a developer to reply, especailly when it’s completely separate to this system.

Having said that, I am sorry that you’ve had that experience, but it’s something to serve as a warning that paying for plugins doesn’t always mean better quality or support. 🙂

Do you know of a site where we can express our dislike for the service that plugin provider supply?

    Developer could be on vacation.

Have you tried his twitter account?

Make sure that you’re reaching out via their preferred method of contact for the paid plugin: http://s2member.com/support/

The threads you have been posting into here are *very* old threads for the free version of the plugin.

Typically, developers who offer both paid and free versions of their plugins spend most of their time focussing on support requests for the paid plugin, not as much on support for the free plugin, and even less time on nearly year-old threads that are suddenly re-surfaced.

So, if you are a customer of the paid plugin, you need to reach out via support for the paid plugin: http://s2member.com/support/

Above all, remember that you can always contact your credit card provider to dispute the charge if you feel you are not receiving any service, but please do exhaust all options of contacting the plugin’s developer via their desired methods first.

Do you know of a site where we can express our dislike for the service that plugin provider supply?

Please feel free to use your blog to share you experience. Posting such a thing here really won’t be seen by many people and it takes time away from the folks who actually need help with WordPress itself.

Thank you for the information. Appreciated. I think you are correct. Creating a Blog site where the threads can stay open for a much longer period of time may be useful. hmm what would a good domain name be? Have a good day and thanks again.
