WooCommerce Category Widget Control
-
Hi,
I am interested in using your Widgets Control plugin in my WooCommerce store.
Is it possible to limit a widget to only show on products in a specific product category?
If so how?
Many thanks.

Hi, looks like a yes – http://www.itthinx.com/2015/03/10/widgets-control/comment-page-1/#comment-601573 😉
if your category’s id is 14, you can use [has_term:14:product_cat]
Hi,
I need you to see a specific result Widgets search results link is:

thanksIs there condition [is_term:my_term:my_taxonomy]? Thanks.
@Юрий What semantics would you expect for is_term different from what has_term provides? See http://docs.itthinx.com/document/widgets-control/usage/categories-and-other-taxonomies/ for related tokens.
I have custom post type with custom taxonomy. I want to show widget on page of one of terms of this custom tax. Like [category:xyz] for native categories or [tag:xyz] for native tags. Not on posts _has_ this term, not on all terms. Only one term in one taxonomy.
In other words:
is_tax( $taxonomy, $term )There is code in the your plugin
case 'tax' : if ( ! empty( $value ) ) { $match = is_tax( $value ); } else { $match = is_tax(); } break;
But without second parameter.
Sorry for my english
Hacked 🙂
case 'tax' : if ( ! empty( $value ) ) { $match = is_tax( $value, $value2 ); } else { $match = is_tax(); } break;
it’s work with
[tax:product_cat:bcaa]
Good plugin!
Many thanks for the suggestion Юрий, I’ve added support for the second parameter to the new version 1.3.0 just released.
Please also rate the plugin and if there’s anything that would keep you from giving it 5 stars, please make sure to let me know so I can take it into account.
Cheers
Thank you!
Now I do not need to write a similar plugin 🙂
Good luck
