A social sharing plugin similar to this image overlay

    I really like this rollover overlay effect of the share icons appearing on an overlay of the featured image in this site. Does anyone know if this is custom coded or an available plugin?

    I did find some similar social hover image plugins, but I am quite curious about the one on the GE site. It seems the color of the overlay matches a color within each featured image, and is quite unique. It makes me think the user needs to choose a hex color within each post, manually, after they have set the featured image… unless there is a more dynamic/scripted way to achieve this kind of cohesive color coordination with individal posts.

    The GE site doesn’t look like a WordPress-based site to me, so the effect is likely to have been custom coded.

    Hi! Yes, i believe it’s a tmblr site. I was hoping there might be a plugin for WP that does a similar effect…? 🙂
