Theme installation

    Hi All

    I am havin trouble installing a theme, I purchased a theme from envato market, one that you customise in wordpress. I am running wordpress on Microsoft WebMatrix. When I go to add new theme I select the downloaded Zip file and click install it then takes me to a page saying Are you sure you want to try this , then says please try again, Highly frustrating . Can anyone help me as to what is wrong.

    Not sure if this is a security setting related to your webserver, but you could try an alternative method:

    – unzip the file on your local computer
    – upload all those contents (files and directories) to /wp-content/themes/your-new-theme-name

    Of course, change “your-new-theme-name” to an appropriate name.

    In the WP admin, the theme should now appear and you should be able to activate it.

    Thanks for the reply , does it make a difference
    That I am using webmatrix, as when Installed webmatrix
    This installed the word press for me. Do you think it’s
    A limitation of using webmatrix.

    It’s possible that it’s been restricted through Webmatrix, but I’m no expert on that I’m afraid.
