Hi, I am getting a 414 when filtering by category on all posts.

I get this in the url =

    (start of url) &cat=3&filter_action=Filter&paged=1&mode=list&secondary_title=aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa&secondary_title=&secondary_title=&secondary_title=&secondary_title=&secondary_title=&secondary_title=&secondary_title=&secondary_title=&(etc)

filtering pages is fine, and filtering still works when I delete the repeated GET request, and continues to work thereafter

    hope you can help

Yep, that looks like a bug to me, the multiple secondary title parameters at the end. However, right now I’m working on another WordPress project which leaves me very little time to work on my free WP plugins. I’ll let you know when I have some time and then I’ll try to fix it immediately.

In the meantime, maybe you can tell me whether this occurs on the admin area or on the front end or both. If the front end is included: Does changing permalink settings make any difference?

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

It occurs with all (default) permalink structures. It is only admin (specifically the filter posts feature) and doesn’t seem to effect anything else.

I’ll have a look through your code and if I find anything I drop the fix here.

    thanks

It’s a bug caused by the way I implemented the secondary title in the “quick edit” function. I’ll fix it in the next version.

If you want to fix it right away, download this fixed beta version and replace it with the one currently installed on your webserver. Oh, and of course, don’t forget to rate Secondary Title here on WP.org 😉
