Changing Misc Setting to fix media uploader issue

    I recently moved my blog within my site and am now having problems with my media uploader. (It acts as it is working, but no image shows up in the post.) I realize that I need to change the uploads path on the Miscellaneous Settings page, but before I do, I just want to be sure that I don’t “lose” all the images I uploaded before the move.

    If I downloaded my uploads folder and reuploaded it in the new location, and then changed all the links in the posts from the old URL to the new URL, I am assuming that all will be still be appearing on the site once I change the folder path?

    I am just trying to make sure I have everything covered to avoid making any mistakes…

    No one chimed in, so I went ahead and made the change. In case any one else is as cautious as I am, I thought I would post a follow-up to let you know that it appears everything went smoothly and all my images are still appearing on the site.
