Mobile Only Themes

    Are there any mobile themes that you can change the settings independently, so its really a customized theme that is totally separate from the desktop theme? I have a theme switching plugin, but my desktop theme is an older customized theme that I don’t want to disturb in any way. I need a mobile theme that can stand on its own, with its own settings that don’t affect the desktop.

    The problem is that it appears that you can only apply settings to a theme after it is activated. And that is dangerous for my old theme, as it may damage it. Any ideas? What are the best mobile only themes out there?

    I just found a plugin that allows you to have separate editing of desktop and mobile, so you can code them differently to look best on each environment, all without a separate mobile site. So that part is excellent, just need to solve the theme problem, as I need to make adjustments to whatever mobile theme I buy.
