call to emoji still in

    Perhaps I misunderstand how it works.

    Added bonus: Disables all “emoji” functionality in WordPress 4.2 and above.

    With the plugin installed there is still the call in the <head> to <script src="http://domain.com/wp-includes/js/wp-emoji-release.min.js?ver=4.2-beta4-32021" type="text/javascript"></script>

    How is that disabling all functionality?

    Because core has changed since I updated the plugin. I’ll update it again shortly before WP 4.2 is released.

    Updated. Seems to cover everything I can find in 4.2RC3. Let me know if you spot something I missed.
