Is there any use of having the cookies for comments plugin to reduce comment spam if only registered users on my multiste are allowed to comment?

Secondly, it says “The plugin can also check how long it took a user to enter a comment. If it’s too fast it’s probably a spam bot. How fast can a legitimate user enter their name, email, web address and enter a well thought out comment?” But because only registered users can comment meaning they won’t fill out their name, email etc, and they might leave a quick comment, How fast is fast?

    Thanks

No. None. If a user is registered, they’re not a spammer probably. They have no need for a bot to post.

The ONLY reason it MIGHT be useful is if you have open registration.
