How can I 301 redirect /%postname%.html to /%postname%.whatever

    Hello, I’m trying to 301 redirect from /%postname%.html to /%postname%.online . All plugins or explanations I find, make it possible to remove the.html extension, but I can’t see what should be done, in order to use a new one.

    Can you, please, help me, what directive should I use in .htaccess, or is there any plugin which could do the job? The only one which works successfully is “Advanced permalinks”, but because of the fact it is not updated soon, it breaks other things.
