@imyourvalentine – What were you using previously to insert a slideshow into your home page?
As to using the [singlepic] shortcode to link to a specific URL, just add that to the shortcode as the link parameter.

I was using ngg slider but when I upload the new version this appeared to me: Flash slideshow support has been removed from NextGEN Gallery
I didn’t understand what you wrote about the url to a single pic.

@imyourvalentine – NextGEN Gallery does not use a Flash based slideshow any more … what version of NextGEN Gallery did you update from?
Also, how specifically are you inserting your “slider”?

@imyourvalentine – You appear to have an issue with the Lightbox Effects not working on your site, this is not what we refer to as the “slideshow” sorry for the confusion.
Have you tried following the steps outlined in this article: http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Troubleshooting
If you need more specific details about the SinglePic shortcode, please read this article: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/singlepic/ … and again, just add the link=<URL> parameter to link to whichever URL you think best.

In my home page there is a “slideshow” or whatever you call it with featured image but before upload there was a slideshow of a gallery that I created.
I didn’t understand where I have to add the link=<URL> parameter
@imyourvalentine – I’m seeing a non-NextGEN Gallery slideshow on your homepage that appears to be working, is that what you are referring to? It also appears there may be some issues with your current theme, have you tried temporarily switching to a default WordPress Twenty series theme to see if the NextGEN Gallery Lightbox Effects work (if they are being used)?
For the [singlepic] shortcode, please provide an example of what you are using now and the URL you want to link to and I will create an example from those details for you.

Hi! If you go on my home page you can see that every little picture has a link to the session. Before the upload I had the same in the gallery page. Every picture send you to the session. In the home is everything ok but not in the GALLERIA PAGE. If you go on the category menu also it is working good. every picture has his link to the entire session.

Now the slideshow is working so we can leave it for a moment. what about the links? I send you this 20 hours ago:
