Creating albums automatically

    Hi all,

    work is nearly done, but there is still a few questions:

    1) In table IX, D9 I made a tick at “Grant an album Create an album for each user logging in.”
    The name of the album should be the loginname (IX,D19).
    I also have made a specific parent-album for new users, but if I create a new user, no album is created automatically 🙁

    What could be the reason for that?

    2) In the admin-bar of wordpress, if I log in with a “Non-admin user”, there is a link “Foto Albums” (with under-links to e.g. “Foto uploads”).
    Is there a way to delete this link for “Non-Administrators”?

    I found a solution for 2).
    the ticks in Table VII, A are responsible for that admin-bar.

    Any hints for the problem described in 1) are more than welcome 🙂

    They will be created IF the user does not ‘own’ an album yet, AND when he first logs in. Registered users who never log in will not have an album.

    Unfortunately it doesn`t work. I have created a completely new user and logged in first time with that. No album is created :-(. Does that user need special permissions?

    Fixed. You did not tick the box in Table VII-D1: Owners only.
    This means that users could upload in all albums. I bet you do not wamt that, you want to give the users their own album to upload into.
    If they can upload anywhere, they can also create albums, so the ‘grant an album’ feature will be useless.

    It is STRONGLY recommended to keep ‘Owners only’ ON, for security reasons.

    Hallo,

    nach langem suchen hier gelandet. Bin ein absoluter Wp-Neuling und leider komme ich nicht mit dem ganzen englisch überall klar.

    Kann mir evtl. jemand einigermaßen einfach erklären, wie ich das
    WPPA Admin Language Pack installieren muss?

    Also, ich meine so, dass ins deutsche übersetzt wird?

    Bin dankbar für jede Hilfe.
