    Memory exhausted error with object-cache.php
    Theme: DreamTheme The 7.2

We have several sites with the following configuration: GoDaddy wordpress hosting, latest The 7.2 theme, latest WooCommerce plugin, same set of plugins. However only one has this reocurring problem – http://www.zlatara-as.rs

Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20503931 bytes) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas03_data01/81/2430581/html/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 433

Flushing the (GoDaddy) cache resolves the issue which occures generally to users who havent visited the site (simulated by incognito mode in Chrome), but surelly this is a permanent sollution rather a temporary fix.

We have defined WP MAX MEMORY, WP MEMORY LIMIT and MEMORY LIMIT to 512M in wp-config.php. This has fixed some other memory exhaustion errors but the object-cache. php fatal error remains to be reacurring issue. Interestingly enough, its not constant, rather occasional (but multiple times a day).

    Can you help us! PLS!

  • I am having the same EXACT problem. Go Daddy has said it might be a plugin or that my theme is causing the problems. It is still not resolved.

Did either of you figure out how to fix this issue? We’re running into the same problem as well.

brdraper, I ditched any plugins that I absolutely did not need, then I flushed the Godaddy cache, and also deleted about 7,000 old posts. Yes, you read that correctly—7,000. Who knew I had so much to say?!?!? LOL!! As time consuming as it was to go through that many post titles, this seemed to have fixed the problem for me. It took me about 3 – 4 hours to located and then delete the posts I could live without. I had more than 11,000 posts on my blog, so this freed up a good bit of space. I hope this information helps you in some way. 🙂
