    Hi everyone,
I have a blog page on my website that shows all the posts.
    http://www.silvercloudpartners.com/blog/
I am now trying to change the title shown on the page from “M&A Update” to “Blog”. For the other pages, the title is changed when I changed it in “Edit Page”. However, the practice doesn’t work for the blog.
Does anyone have any ideas for this problem?
    Thank you in advance,
    Chaoyi

Hi, Chaoyi, & welcome. Well this is interesting. I’m not sure if it’s your theme or if someone from the company actually hard-coded it onto the page, but it’s definitely in the first heading level. So–the title in the title bar reads blog, but the heading reads MMA Update.

If this was indeed hard-coded, then of course the easiest solution would be to remove it. Absent that, perhaps try making another page called ‘Posts’. Then go to ‘Settings > Reading’ & change your posts page to the 1 you just created. Test to make sure your posts are there. If so, then move the old blog page to the trash & empty the trash so as to allow the blog permalink back into circulation. You can then create the blog page again, & then go back to ‘Settings > Reading’ & reset your posts page to Blog. That likely took more time to write than it will to do, but it should fix the problem.

Please let us know if you need additional clarification, as well as whether or not that helped, won’t you?
