Visitor count not working (shows "0")

    Hello,

    Following the latest update, the visitor count stopped working: it shows “0” on all rows (today, yesterday, etc.). The visit counts is working though.

    Here is below a (bad) copy/paste:

    User(s) Online: 6
    Visitor Visit
    Today: 0 24,213
    Yesterday: 0 24,961
    Last 7 Days (Week): 0 237,600
    Last 30 Days (Month): 0 660,406
    Last 365 Days (Year): 0 660,406
    Total: 0 660,406

    Any way to fix this issue?

    Check to make sure visitor tracking is enabled in the settings. Also check your PHP error logs for any fatal errors. You can also look at the page source (usually ctrl-u in your browser) and look at the very bottom for any fatal errors.

    1) Visitor tracking is enabled
    2) I get the following error in the “visitor” page:

    The following error was encountered while using the WP_Statistics_Pagination class:

    The value set for total entries is invalid:

    I don’t see any (other) fatal error.

    Did you look in your PHP error log?

    Can you check you the wp_statistics_visitor table in the SQL database and see if there are any rows being added to it?

    You’ll need to go to your hosting console and find if they have phpMyAdmin. This tool will let you view your SQL server tables.

    One of them will be called wp_statistics_visitor, select it and view the last few rows in the table and see what date they have in the “last_counter” field.
