Typo: should read “Use fixed width in Admin datatable”. Thanks for pointing that out.

Sure! By the way, what gets set to fixed width, the font, the data columns, or something else? I’m comparing a site running 2.8.33 with one running 2.8.34, and I can’t tell. One thing I just noticed is that beginning with 2.8.34 and continuing with 2.8.35, the alternating row shading disappeared. Oops, made a new topic on that last comment. Thanks!

Nothing should change unless you change the value of the option. When you do, the table should resize horizontally as the window size changes. But there is a minimum size and the table needs to be wider than that for the behavior to start.

I see now, and it looks like the minimum browser width has to be more than 1680px before you see the columns resizing. I run 2 screens, the largest is 1680px, so I had to extend across 2 screens to see the resizing. What’s the width you have set for column resizing to begin?

By the way, the column resizing only works in Chrome, but not Firefox (both latest versions under Mac OS X 10.6.8). Thanks!

p.s. Also now running WordPress 4.2.1
