Another Request

Rather than making vague subject titles (“Another request” does nothing to explain what the subject is) perhaps you want to expand and choose better topic titles?

Have categories for all post types, core and custom. Give the option to have each category apply to all, or selected types.

Why wouldn’t that remain in plugin space? Not all ideas make it into core and that could be handled by a plugin.

Because if everyone’s idea made it into core, WordPress would be a bloated mess. 🙂
