We have installed Adminimize, and for the most part it works great. However, with Multiverso, the “Categories” option will not show. I’ve confirmed that it is not deactivated in the Adminimize settings (nothing from Multiverso is) and even if I allow other items to show, it still will not show the categories option.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

You can NOT change the views to add areas. The plugin don’t touch the rights in roles, the capabilities. The plugin give you only the option to reduce areas.

Correct.. I know that we cannot add areas. What I’m asking is why that “Categories” section becomes hidden after we use Adminimize. We have set nothing to hide it. We have not set anything in Adminimize on the Multiverso plugin at all. So why is it hiding it?

Please check the source of the page. Is a style instruction for this area? Also it a good help to use the Webinspector of a browser to find, is this area on display none via css, js.

Also check the “Screen Options” for your user, maybe is deactivated. But is not from the plugin, come from other ways.
