Disabling Hotlink Impact

    Hello,

    Preventing hotlinking would make your media resources appear as unavailable to those services, which I think is not a good idea.

    On the other hand, if you prevent hotlinking, but still allow the IPs and hostnames used by those networks’ servers access the media, then possibly there shouldn’t be any problem.

    But, I have no such experience, so I cannot advice for or against the enforcement of any policy that prevents hotlinking.

    I highly recommend asking this question to those services’ support forums.
