responsive thumbnails

hi. I am just starting out using your plugin. it’s great.
I have set it up following your example to have related posts come after each post automatically.

By question is with regards to a smartphone mobile display. Is it possible to limit the display to one or 2 columns of thumnails, but have it be 4 or 5 on a wider display?

right now i have 4 columns, and the images are a bit small (more than a bit, really) on an iphone6 display. i’d like a 2×2 grid or a 1 column option if possible.
