@weevie833 – There is not really enough context here to get an idea of what you are seeing on your site … are you saying you had http://example.com/?p=6864 get replaced by a NextGEN Gallery display reference?!
If that is what you are describing, please provide a link to your web site so we can get a better sense about this with a first-hand view.
Thanks!

That’s the problem: there’s nothing to see! The post ID was overtaken by the data I posted previously. The post, on the frontend and the backend, literally disappeared without a trace.
So, yes – I am suggesting (without complete certainty) that NGG content now occupies the space in the db where the original post use to be. If I knew what this data was referring to, I could try to re-create the series of steps that might have been taken to cause the problem.
For example, did NGG literally burn the post data and replace it with its own? Or did some other action occur that caused the post to be deleted (thus vacating the ID number) and NGG simply grabbed the available ID number because it had not yet been used?
FYI, the website is: mcgowanfineart.com
@weevie833 – Thanks for the site URL … this is a very unusual issue. I’m thinking we will need to get a much closer look under the page at the site itself.
Would you be able to send us a Bug Report (http://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get the closer look?
We will likely need log in (and FTP) credentials for your WordPress installation, we may also need to get access to your database so please ensure you have a fully verified complete backup of the site as well and include those credentials with your Bug Report.
Thanks!

I will gather what I can for you. However, you will not find anything in the posts, pages, CPT, or media areas that correspond to ID 6864. I could not find anything in the NGG area either under the gallery images that were uploaded on the same date as the information I found in the db table itself.
The only trace of content with ID 6864 is in the db as posted in my first post above. I will look in the NGG logs as soon as I can. The db entry states it was created 2-21-15.
@weevie833 – Thanks, but again, a Bug Report may be your best bet as you are referring to too much data that is not viewable for us to work with from this topic.

I have the same issue. I get this weird code. I have activity log and it shows up when my web designer is working with the images.
What does it mean?
