Since you are having this issue on multiple plugins, try checking the file permissions on the server –

    Thanks for your reply WPyogi.

I’ve checked. The file permissions can not be changed. I’ve also noticed something else.

Some plugins have the user name ‘Apache’ associated to them. For all plugins with this username, the file permissions can not be changed. These are also the plugins that I’m having trouble updating.

    Why is this?

What do you suggest I do?

This isn’t an issue with the AddToAny plugin, so you should contact your website host for support, then post a detailed new topic in one of the general forums if you’re still stuck.

Problem solved. I contacted the webhost.

Thank you for your advice. 🙂
