I’m browsing the forums but can’t find any matching thread? Doesn’t anybody know about this error?
Having the exact same problem!
I don’t know if it’s the same problem for everyone, but in my case I found a solution:
It was a problem with quote-comments. The older version 1.1 which I reactived now is working fine, but the new version 1.2 does something which stops the comment feed working.
I don’t have any quote comments. Anybody else have any idea why the comments rss feed doesn’t work?

@ridjay I just checked your page out. the solution that TheDoubtfulRebel posted is for a different situation than the one you are experiencing (The one I wrote about on my blog ( http://www.toppersplace.com/wordpress ) will work for gfyd[kimberly] though).
When I was hunting down my fix, I did see other people having the same problem as you described… and it had something to do with extra blank lines at the end of the wp-config.php file.
Try opening it up in a regular text editor, and if there are any blank lines at the end of the file… delete them. the VERY last character should be the ‘>’ at the last line (Keep it very tight, not even a space after the character.
I can’t guarantee that this will solve your problem either.. I’m not sure if the german version of wordpress is suffering the same problems as the english version when it comes to comment feed

@ridjay Just found another idea that might work:
Check your permalink settings. read: Using_Permalinks
Check the two URL values in admin > Settings > General

That thread says he was getting the 404.. he checked those settings, and made some adjustments, and got it working…

Hi everybody,
I’ve updatet my wordpress installation to 2.7 (german version by http://wordpress-deutschland.org ) this week and I’ve noticed today that my comments feed aren’t working anymore, but they definitely did before. I didn’t change anything in the .htaccess file, my permalinks are set up right as wordpress says, the only problem is when I open my comments feed (for example http://www.neunzehnhundert.org/comments/feed/rss2/ ) I get the “Page not found” error.
Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong? A few minutes ago I uploaded the whole wordpress-files again but nothing changed.
