• Hi and many thanks for a great plugin. I’m using it for inserting museum records.
The only thing that baffles me is the search.
Instead of the dropdown-list and selecting each sortable field, can I have one search for all sortable fields?

For example if I have 5 sortable fields:
    1. Name
    2. Model
    3. Description
    4. History
    5. Place of origin

The search would search all of them at the same time and return the results.
    Is that possible?

It’s only possible if you develop your own search code, the built-in search function can only search on one field at a time. The plugin has an API with filters to hook in your own search code.

How would you even start to make this happen?

Is it something you don’t think of as a valuable feature for the plugin Roland!
I would pay for that feature because the plugin is nearly perfect in all other ways.

Yes, it would be a useful and valuable feature, and I’ve got it in the works as an add-on plugin, but at the moment my efforts with the main plugin are getting the next major version out. It includes several code improvements that make multiple-field searches easier to implement.
