    Hi, yes, that is correct.
    If you do not check moderation, all new entries will be marked as checked.
    You can best subscribe to the notification mails then and make sure they work.

    You also want Akismet enabled BTW, and the custom anti-spam question might be a good idea, though many people seem to strangely prefer the unfriendly reCAPTCHA.
