First off, fantastic widget this has solved so many of my problems. I’ve run into one issue however that I can’t seem to figure out. I tried to research this a little before posting and saw one or two other similar posts but never saw a solution so I thought I would bring this up again in more detail.

I have a text widget with all options set to “No”, with one exception being the BuddyPress section set to all “Yes”. Basically I don’t want the widget displayed on any page except the Members, Messages, Settings, and Xprofile pages. Using this configuration displays the widget on the Members, Messages, and Settings pages but it does not display at all on the Xprofile page.

To make sure there wasn’t an issue displaying it in general, I set all options to “Yes” and the widget did display correctly on the Xprofile page, so I know it’s not an issue with theme templates or anything like that.

Any ideas what’s causing this? I’m using the iFeature5 Free theme.

Setting it to yes doesn’t say anything unfortunately, cause that’s WordPress default.

Probably the template is not releasing the correct values to DW, so DW doesn’t know what to do.

Did either of you come up with a solution on this? I have essentially the same issue: I want a widget to display on a single URL, which happens to be a BuddyPress profile page.

    Hi grimesgw,

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a solution to this yet. To clarify my post above, when I said I set all options to “Yes” I meant that I made the widget Static.

I’m not exactly sure what to do moving forward if this is related to the template not releasing correct values. Hopefully the plugin author can elaborate more on which values the template should be releasing in order for this to work correctly. I’m not sure what to even ask if I were to go back to the Buddypress developers.

I’m interested in an resolution to this myself.
