  • Hi there, Rachel!

I wonder if there’s an issue with permalinks. I see that your Events page is set to /services/events and that there are other pages in that section that contain “events” in the URL as well. This can sometimes cause conflicts.

Will you please try heading to Settings > Permalinks and switching to default permalinks? Do your pages properly display when doing that?

Let’s give that a try and troubleshoot from there. 🙂

    Hi Geoff

Did that but no difference sadly …

    What next?

    Howdy Rachel,

It’s nice to meet you. I am sorry it’s giving you trouble, especially post launch. Since Geoffs notion did not work, there is one more thing we should definitely try. It is possible something has autoupdated since the launch and is causing things to no longer function proper. Or, a setting was changed that for some strange reason had this impact. Either way, the next is to test for conflicts. This guide walks you through that: Test For Conflicts.

Since this is a live site, you might want to try the conflict test out either during low traffic hours when no one is likely to be viewing it. Or, a lot of WordPress developers have a separate testing server for stuff like this, and they do tests on it before depoloying fixes to the live site. If you have that setup as well, awesome!

Let us know how it goes or if there is anything else we can do. Cheers!

    Hi Brook

Many thanks for your reply to my problem …. thankfully it is all sorted now. One of the plug-ins my partner downloaded was conflicting with the site. It has been removed and all is well!

    Thank you again
